We're just about to wrap up our first month post-launch — and what a month it's been!
Thanks to your support, Vantage has doubled its user base, now counting over 650 sailors across 49 countries. We've also rolled out several key improvements, from cleaner charts to a dramatically improved video player.
What's New in Vantage 1.2.2
The latest update brings a wave of new features and fixes:
Apple Sign-In Fixed
A login issue affecting some users has now been fully resolved.
Enhanced Charts & Data Visualization
Our new chart design makes it easier than ever to interpret and compare data. Cleaner visuals, clearer insights.
All-New Video Player
We've completely overhauled the video experience:
- Play videos with telemetry instantly after upload — no file size limits
- Upload multiple videos at once
- Animated charts & map during playback
- Streamlined time synchronization UI
In-App Moderation Tools
You can now report inappropriate messages and block users. While our community remains respectful and positive (no users blocked so far!), we're committed to keeping it that way.

In-App Activity Recording
Soon, you'll be able to record your sailing sessions directly from the app using your phone's sensors and GPS.
- Drop your phone in your lifejacket for simple and easy logging
- Mount it to log heel, pitch, and more
This feature is already built and will be tested in the coming weeks!
Smarter Wind Detection
We're developing a new algorithm to improve general wind direction estimation. For now, we always recommend verifying wind direction when you upload a new activity (just tap the True Wind value to adjust it if it looks off). Expect improvements very soon!
Garmin Connect Integration
Say goodbye to manual uploads — you'll soon be able to link your Garmin account to Vantage. Your sailing activities will be automatically uploaded and analyzed every time you sync your watch.
