From the boat park to the debrief room, we've been testing Vantage the way coaches actually work: big screens, tight turnarounds, and a room full of sailors waiting for a clear takeaway. Those sessions shaped this update.
We've been logging activities and running full debriefs with Vantage, lining up clips, checking telemetry, and uploading straight from the water. The result is an upcoming release focused on speed to insight: less fiddling, more coaching.

Video Review on a Larger Screen
The Video Player brings footage and sailing data together for the coaching room. We've rebuilt the experience around the coach workflow:
- High speed scrubbing
- Video and Telemetry synchronization
- Easier switching between videos
- All available on your Laptop

New Features, Improvements and Bug Fixes
- Comment on your Connections' Activities. This one was highly requested and we are so excited to add another layer of interaction to Vantage.
- Added Live Activity Notifications (iOS only) for the recently released In-App Recording Feature (both Android and iOS).
- Continuous improvements to the Activity and Leg Replay UI.
- Improved Wind Direction, using a Machine Learning model.
- Major usability improvements to the Video Player: Easily switch between video sessions in the side bar, and a redesigned video to telemetry synchronization tool with an interactive map.
- New backend with improved speed and scalability.
Moth Performance Study: Worlds to Worlds in a Sprint
From Manly to Malcesine, the class turned a short window into a big performance leap. Vantage went from beta to daily debrief tool while the fleet trained together and refined setups, most visibly with steel rudder verticals.
This dashboard compares the lead-up to Moth Worlds 2024 and Moth Worlds 2025, highlighting VMG and SOG by wind strength so you can see where gains actually landed. There's also an exclusive view of the World Champion's progression against the front of the fleet.
